Winter Concerts

ALICE IN WINTERLAND

The main part of a radio station is, unfortunately, not always the morning show, sometimes its about the music. Not just playing the music on air, but having concerts where listeners can come here their favorite artists as well as the hosts of their favorite radio shows.

Alice 97.3 has a few concerts/festivals that they curate each year. One of those concerts they like to call 'Alice in Winterland'. This year the show will be taking place at the Masonic in San Francisco on December 5th. Recently, the lineup was announced as being Avril Lavigne, Ke$ha, and Flora Cash. Not only can people come listen to these three artists, but there will also be an event before the show with Sarah and Vinnie, sponsored by Bud Light.

The other interns and I helped out before the show. We arrived and helped the Morning Show hosts find their way around the VIP party. Then when it was time for the meet and greet we had to take them upstairs. We helped them take pictures and talk with all of the fans who were there to meet the hosts. After that was done we showed the hosts where their seats were and after that we were allowed to watch the show!
