Expectations vs Reality

When I started working on the morning show there were certain things that I thought we were going to be doing, but obviously I had no idea what I was going into.

Expectations:

- The Morning Show would be constantly hectic

- We would not be very involved as interns

- There wouldn't be much input from the interns

- The days would seem repetitive doing the same thing

Reality:

- The show is managed well and split into 30 minute time slots which makes it flow easily and gives everyone plenty of time to get done what they need to for that portion of the show

- The interns are very involved in what is going on with the show that morning, from finding the stories that are going to be talked about, to doing the contests daily.

- The hosts of the show constantly ask the interns what we think about certain topics and if we think it is relevant or not, they care about our opinions

- Everyday is different on the morning show since there is something new happening on the news everyday. it is never boring!
