History of Alice

KLLC is a commercial FM radio station that broadcasts to the San Francisco Bay Area. The frequency of 97.3 was originally owned by Warner Brothers Oakland. The station went through various changes like becoming a pop station before officially becoming Alice 97.3 in June of 1995. Alice is now headed by Entercom, since being purchased in 2017. The station has many shows, but also participates in a few off air events. These events include things like live shows, concerts, and festivals. On air, the station mainly plays music in a HOT AC format, meaning they play anything from classical hits to mainstream pop.
