Starting Off Strong

The second day of my internship.

Today was a fun day at work. When I arrived we did the usual research for new articles that the hosts, Sarah and Vinnie, can share on air. After that, I started learning how to edit the audio for the podcasts. This is something I partially already knew how to do thanks to my Youtube channel. Later in the day, I got to do a contest on the air. Whenever the show is having a contest, the interns are the people who are taking all of the calls. I am the only intern on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I take all the calls. In this situation I took all 97 calls because the winner was the 97th caller. This was mildly stressful, but it was fun when I got to tell the winner that they won! (she was very excited)

I also learned today at work that I am the youngest person there by at least 6 years. This was sort of intimidating for me because sometimes people look down on you when you are younger, but it also is going to make me work 10x harder!
